Agency Intake Form

The First thing I’d like to say is thank you for coming to my website and going into my funnel. This list is not for everyone. I love to work with people and even new people. I don't get compensated by the site. The trade in value is you get access to people I know.

There is no guarantee that you’ll make it onto my list. Some ways can help you make it onto the list.

  • Work on my public twitter posts. Some of those brands have a huge struggle. It'll make a good case study. I don't charge a fee for this list. Brands use this list...use your brain. Think of this help you give as a fee. I use this work to promote my list....so you get more business.
  • You can add your name to the waitlist. If you're on the waitlist I will contact you at some point, please don't message me every few weeks, we go in order of receipt by skill. There are many ahead of you, check the waitlist.
  • If you have previously worked with me and you are not on the list fill out the form I will see it. Again no guarantee, if I like your work you are in. But if you are running a shit operation don't be surprised to get no love. Do better.
  • You can work on a special project. I have things like DTC$450PKG the agencies that work on these project commit 1-2 hours to new brands. The fee is 150 per agency. You can also donate the money to a charity.
  • Occasionally brands will ask me for one off work. This work is usually quick and dirty. These are smaller projects but we of the list make a big deal about them. That brings the list attention. When a brand inevitably needs an agency we are sucking up the air in the room lately.

We agree that agencies rely on new clients to sustain their businesses and grow revenue. You are expanding your potential client base by sharing information about your services and capabilities with me. I am not begging for this information. If you feel uncomfortable sharing anything I’ve asked, please feel free to lurk instead of being showcased.

By connecting an agency with direct consumer brands through my network, I am signing off on the fact that I believe this will benefit both parties. So we need some basic ground rules.

  • Treat clients like they are your mother
  • Post on social media with a tag to me and a link to DTCMKG site saying, “I got a client from DTCMKG(or something like that, honest reviews are welcome)”
  • Tell other agencies/brands what you think of us.  Love or hate is good; honesty is the best policy.
  • LMK, if a brand is a bad actor, I will restrict them where needed. They are out there.

As someone looking to connect agencies with consumer brands, I  have access to potential clients; you may wonder how. I run a fast growing 8 figure brand. my wife owns a trade show with 60 women's apparel brand. I’ve worked in fashion trade shows, wholesale fashion, and now DTC. The most significant sources of inbound traffic right now are the myriad of slack, discords, and Twitter

I am in groups with streetwear brands that have only sold $1000 worth of stock, and I am in slacks with people whose businesses are doing 200,000,000 to 500,000,000. Recently I was talking marketing with a 10 figure Pharma brand.

I hope I am careful not to advertise my site as a competition to these groups, but I do make people aware that I keep a list of resources.

By leveraging my network, agencies can reach out to brands they may not have had access to otherwise. Even better, I want to build this small list so you can reach out to other agencies on the list, creating outbound referrals to other quality organizations. The hope is that they will do the same as we all rise together.

You are well aware of the competitive nature of obtaining clients. By sharing details about your business, you might feel you're limiting yourself in the future. Please understand if your retainers change or your ability to onboard existing clients changes, you can let me know, and I will adjust your profile.

We all want to grow. That’s all good. Just be careful you’re not offering 50 off to some customers and 150 of your stated of retainer here to other customers unless you have a good reason. Maybe the brands are leaving the business, or your wife wears their T-shirts. I understand these things.

I’d like to have you put some personal information in if you’re comfortable with that, things like how you made it into DTC, where you went to college, or where your high school dropout was, if you feel comfortable sharing that. Do you have a wife and seven kids, or are you single working in Bali?
