In the latest, most exciting episode of Big fucking Wins, I’d like to talk about an awesome guy who owns an apparel brand. He's from NY and started the brand in LA. He’s a young dude who doesn’t come from a marketing background but got his brand up to $400,000 monthly in sales.
When I met him, he told me he paid about 25 grand a month in retainers. He was spending about $120,000 on Facebook and other kinds of ads.
Now, he was doing pretty well, not like he wasn’t making money, but when I looked at what he was doing, I knew I could help him.
The first thing I did was renegotiate his retainers, and we brought his retainers down to about 7,000 a month. If you know me, you know that’s still too high, and I will get that lower with better performance.
The next thing I did was to fire his email agency and replace it with one of my email agencies. At that point, they were doing about 10,000 a week in email, which was very low. That’s an easy win for me.
We’re doing about 100 grand a month in email revenues. No one trusts Saas's attribution. True, least of all me, but if Klavio was saying 10k before, and now they’re saying 100k, it’s a safe bet we did something. Profit will be strict when your Shopify brand spends $120,000 monthly on Facebook ads and $25,000 on agency marketing retainers.
The big fucking win here is that the company went from no profit one month to 96,000 in net profit. This happened about 45 days into our work.
